This timeline captures the temple’s evolution - from its inception through a sacred dream to its establishment as a spiritual landmark in Visakhapatnam.
Sri B.V. Ramana Kumar (I.P.S) receives a life-changing vision of Shiridi Sai Baba, glowing like the sun, who instructs him to build a temple on his residential plot.
Smt. B. Udaya Lakshmi (I.A.S), his wife, surrenders their house site for Baba’s temple. A simple shed is built under a mango tree with a 5-ft Baba photo. Daily poojas begin.
With no structure yet, daily Harathi, chanting, and poojas are performed regularly with deep devotion under the open sky - guided by unwavering faith.
Spiritual Guru Parama Pujya Sri B.H. Briz Kishore appears and guides the couple to begin formal construction. Baba’s words are channeled through him.
Bhumi Puja is conducted as per Baba’s divine order. The foundation is blessed with Vedic rituals and devotion.
With Baba’s blessings and community support, the foundation stone is laid. The construction begins with an unwavering goal: to complete it within 7 months.
Using Nano Technology, the temple - including Dwarakamayi, Dhyan Mandir, Auditorium, Kitchen, and Dining Hall is built in just 7 months, with a projected lifespan of 500 years.
During the Pratishta ceremony, a divine cloud formation descends from the sky and merges into the idol of Sai Baba - witnessed by thousands.
Same day, after Pratishta ceremony, a dog climbs 21 steps, walks straight to Baba’s shrine, drinks milk, and sits peacefully - believed to be Baba’s divine form, fulfilling the founder’s dream..
The temple continues to be a source of faith, peace, and divine connection for thousands. Daily rituals, Annadanam, and celebrations draw devotees from far and wide.
The temple dutifully follows all harathis, abhishekams, archanas and annadanams.
